New Lanark
A day trip to the World Heritage site at New Lanark. I was hoping to get some nice pictures of the Falls of Clyde but it was raining heavily. I didn't realise however the opportunities offered by the brickwork and windows of the old mill buildings.
Looking down onto the hotel, formerly Mill 1, with workers accomodation in the foreground.

The looms and bolts of wool provide pleasing repetition in this image.

More industrial, repeated shapes. This time a waterwheel in full swing.

This was as near as we got to the Falls of Clyde!
